Your body is smart
It doesn’t make mistakes. Never. And I believe nature provided all the medicine we need to heal in the form of real, natural whole-foods, proper self care and the right mindset.
When you learn to decipher your body’s messages, cultivate a positive mindset and incorporate supportive habits and foods (on and off the plate – more of that later) that nourish your body, mind and soul, you rediscover your vitality.
You can press play on life again.
This is my aproach:
My coaching combines the seven elements I consider cornerstones to long-lasting wellness and vitality:
- Nutritious food for a healthy, healed body
Exercise for a happy body and mind
A positive mindset for a positive life
Spiritual food for your mind and soul
Relationships that fulfil and nurture you
A career that challenges and uplifts you
Fun and rest to recharge and reset
I don’t believe in calorie counting, meal plans or extreme measures like exercising three times a day, depriving yourself of foods you love or creating changes through sheer willpower (especially that!).
These methods simply aren’t sustainable. Don’t believe me?
I believe in creating an abundant life and vibrant health by making simple tweaks to what you eat and the way you live without guilt, shame, punishment or deprivation.
No crazy detoxes or diets. It starts simply, with an understanding of the deeper drivers behind your habits and ways to truly nourish yourself mind, body and soul.
Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat?
Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising?
Does a lack of time or resources mean you can’t eat the foods you want?
As we work together, we’ll look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole and create change step by step.
HERE ARE SOME UNIQUE CONCEPTS THAT I USE IN MY COACHING APPROACH:
The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has unique food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working with the principle of bio-individuality you’ll learn to navigate and nourish your body based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and ancestral background.
It’s easy to overlook many things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfilment beyond the food we eat. Other factors in our daily lives, like healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual awareness, all provide essential nourishment. When these ‘primary foods’ are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.
