Matcha green tea latte – the best substitute for coffee

Matcha is a superfood known for centuries for its amazing health benefits. Buddhist monks used to drink it to help them meditate and focus for long periods of time.

Matcha is very high in antioxidants (that help combat aging and maintain your youthful look), enhances memory, concentration and mood by naturally increasing the production of serotonin and dopamine. It also boosts energy levels, metabolism, detoxifies the body and fortifies the immune system.

As a bonus, matcha aids weight loss and is know to have cancer fighting properties. I came across it a couple of years ago while traveling in Japan and totally fell in love. Now I use it in practically everything!

And if you do not like to drink matcha, it is equally effective incorporated in breakfast recipes (check out my Matcha, Banana & Lemon Breakfast Bowl from my free Supercharged Breakfasts eBook.
